China - The Big Unknown

From October 13 to 22, 2025, an executive delegation from the D-A-CH region will embark on a business mission to explore China’s most dynamic centres of artificial intelligence and robotics innovation.

The program begins in Shenzhen, China’s high-tech and robotics hub, with visits to leading institutions specialising in humanoid robotics, AI applications, and automation. Delegates will gain insights into how AI transforms industrial, medical, and public services. In Beijing, the focus shifts to large-scale AI models, generative technologies, and agile robotics, complemented by discussions on technology transfer and international collaboration. The trip concludes in Hangzhou with participation in the IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems (IROS 2025), the world’s premier robotics event featuring keynotes, exhibitions, and networking with global industry leaders. Hangzhou is also home to world-renowned AI and robotic firms.
